Art has a deeper mean that most try to understand. Lets say you are at a art gallery and see a piece that speaks to you. That one piece gets you to think of extraordinary things. There is emotion in every painting, and this gives that deeper meaning. What was this person feeling when that created this masterpiece? This art could be of the cultural aspect of everyone and everything in a single canvas. Art to some is a way of expressing your deepest desires. Let your mind wonder and imagine greatness.
It is a cultural way to unit different ethnic groups. So lets say when you are at the beach on Fourth of July. The music is play with a rhythm and rhyme that you remember for your childhood. The strangers will group around you to share stories and dance. Music has a way of influencing the mind. It is a way people focus on the importance of their life’s work. Let’s talk about another story a concert. While at a concert, people from around the world come together to listen to artist that they have loved for years. No matter the ethnic group you are from this is a way to unit the people with like minds and grow as a population.
Do we choose to hate ourselves because we are not perfect? On a daily basis I use to feel below average, someone that was not going to succeed, ugly, flawed, and so much more. The growth from those days has changed my life drastically. As a kid I learned that my skin was wrong, that it came with the stereotypes, evil, and even disgust. These things maybe happened because of my lack of culture or maybe spirituality. Today is a good day to start on self-awareness. If you do not know what that means then here is the definition: conscious knowledge of one’s own character, feelings, motives, and desires. I learned that no matter the color of my skin, the school I went to, the state I was raised in, or the people I surround myself with that I loved who I was. Self-love, self-confidence, and self-care are things we neglect, because we have no way of properly doing it. We are all different and can’t use the same thing across the board. So, what are ways you show self-awareness?
Technology has grown over centuries. I want to pinpoint my era. I was born in 1995 and technology was at its bare minimum from my perspective. There was the dial-up and landlines that ran at slower speeds then the smartphones that have been developed. The ability to purchase a vehicle that can drive on its own from the safety issues in the vehicles. How about the fact that we are capable of contacting someone from across the world within seconds of send the message or data. The change in this era has grown through the decades which makes it easier for anyone with innovative idea to develop something people would be able to use in all industries. What is your perspective on your era of technology?
Our ability to reach unity in diversity will be the beauty and the test of our civilization.
— Mahotma Gandhi
Diversity is something that has been implemented in everyday life. This is more prevalent in work life, schools, concerts, the internet, and even the smallest thing as walking down a busy street in New York. When looking in depth to diversity you have to look at the ethnicity. There are so many questions that are asked, but I think the question that most people ask, ” Where are you from?” To explain something of this sort you have to understand the cultural aspect of their origin.
